Paxton Drive Was built in 2010 on the site of one of Bristol's indoor bowling and games centre. The site has many memories for those Bristolians, myself included, who spent their leisure time with friends and family and who now enjoy seeing the way the developers have created such a modern complex of homes that provide such convenient access to all of the amazing amenities on offer within town including the splendid Greville Smyth Park that sits just across the road. Our apartment is close to the centre of the development and is approached via a communal pathway with planted shrubs and borders leading to a communal front door. Stairs give access to all levels and there is a very handy communal bike store where your daily commuter bike can reside. It is good to point out now that Bristol City Centre can be reached by bicycle in under 10 minutes! Upon entering the home, you are greeted by a large and welcoming hallway that leads into all principle rooms. A large storage cupboard helps with storage solutions. A wall mounted video telephone entry system is also on hand. There is a spacious, open plan living/dining & kitchen that is pleasant and comfortable. Large UPVC window to the front allows plenty of natural light to travel through and floor space is plentiful allowing for a sizeable sofa, dining table and a study desk. The kitchen area has been fitted with a modern range of wall and base units that are topped with work surfaces and include an electric oven/grill with ceramic hob and extractor over. Provisions for a tall fridge/freezer are on hand along with a washing machine. Both bedrooms can easily be classed as double size and both have windows to the front to allow light to travel through. Bedroom one enjoys the use of a large en-suite shower room that comes equipped with a modern white three piece suite. A main bathroom finishes the spec, again fitted with a modern suite, this time a bath replaces the shower cubicle to ensure the best of both worlds are on offer. The walls have been tiled to match the en-suite and the entire room has been kept beautifully by the current owner. Externally. the apartment has an allocated off street parking space for one vehicle which sits close to the communal door whilst a number of additional visitor spaces are also on hand.
